The capacity and performance of the process are assessed during production and compared with those obtained in the process approval tests as described in the "Production Process Control" procedure.
CIFIAL has the following internal laboratories for taps:
   ⇒ Physical-Chemical and Spectrometry laboratory for the analysis of the performance of finishes;
   ⇒ Mechanical Tests Laboratory, which includes a test bench for taps.

Numerous tests are carried out, of which the following stand out:
      - Corrosion tests: acetic, neutral, cass test, corrodkote;
      - Adherence tests: thermal shock, "tape tests";
      - Hardness: pencil method;
      - Hot water resistance: degradation in water;
      - Chemical resistance;
      - Thickness measurements: Rx (Rm), magnetic induction (Ro);
      - Abrasion tests: "taber abraser" (Rm), sand drop (Ro);
      - Taps tests bench: hydraulic resistance, flow measurement and fatigue test, etc...
